Introduction

Events in the world, the direction the Christian nations are heading, make Christians ask: what does that mean? We naturally seek answers in God's word. God does not leave His faithful servants in ignorance. We want to share with you the results of our many years of study of God's Word, because we believe that the attainments the Scriptures have revealed to us are so relevant that all Christians should take them in consideration. We will approach all the churches we know of, for God and his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, know their servants and know where they are.

The point is that our civilization is undergoing changes on a scale that humanity has not yet experienced. It is not just a global, worldwide scope, nor is it just a change caused by the application of modern technology, but above all a change in the values promoted in Christian civilization. It is the attitude of rulers and governments to their nations, to all creation, to the natural order of God. God's Word testifies that God does not give the right to influential people and rulers, to act arbitrarily, does not give them the right to abuse the power entrusted to them to support perverted ideologies contrary to God's natural order and ultimately to incite rebellion against God (Psalm 2).

All this is reflected in the new laws legalizing unnatural and perverted actions and relationships, in laws weakening the role of the family based on the natural relationship of man and woman, in the role of father and mother in behalf of their descendants.

It reflects in the indifference of society to the values on which the civilization of the Christian nations arose and have stood for a long time. We can surely say that the world is changing very quickly and dramatically. We therefore searched the Bible, sought God's explanation of what is happening, and found that the origins and roots of current events are described most clearly in the book of the prophet Daniel.

The fourth and fifth chapters of the book of Revelation tell that in parallel with the events here on earth, important events and processes take place in heaven. Without them, the final period of our age and of the whole epoch, the beginning of which is described, as has already been said, by the Prophet Daniel, cannot begin. This is also one of the reasons why God's reaction to the current development has not yet come and some people foolishly think that it will not come. We Christians should be able to tell people who still want to listen to what information the Scriptures provide about our time. That is because God will definitely intervene but many will be trapped.

The subject of this work is the search for answers to four important questions. What epoch do we live in? Where is its origin (roots)? What is its purpose for? Where is the development of human governments heading?

Why is it good to ask these questions? Simply so that we even know what's going on and at the same time be able to understand what we have to do at this time. This is important because then we can tell people who are concerned about what is going on and look for Bible-based answers to the important questions they may ask themselves. God's Word can answer all well-asked questions. And we Christians must know the answers. That is what is expected of us, although few people say it out loud today. And unfortunately, people who are not Christians, but think honestly about the future of Christianity, do not expect much from us. Why? Because so far no one has come up with clear and credible answers.

Therefore, please pay attention to this short study, verify the arguments on which its conclusions are based. We present them to you for consideration, and you decide for yourself whether you will take on your own task before God's people.

Where is the beginning of the era we live in?

Without a proper understanding of the epoch, we live in, the finding of its beginning and the knowledge of the aim for which it came to being, it is impossible to understand the current development. The book of the prophet Daniel records the testimony of the epoch in which we live. The second chapter of the book of the prophet Daniel tells a story that took place more than two and a half thousand years ago. It tells us that Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon considered the future before going to bed (verse 2:29). And the God of heaven, through a dream, told him what would happen in the future.

The statue the king saw in the dream had a golden head, a silver chest, a bronze belly and hips, iron legs whose feet were partly made of iron and partly made of clay. God's interpretation of the dream, communicated through the mouth of the prophet Daniel (Daniel 2: 17-30), says that each part of the statue represents a sequence of several kingdoms in succession, from head to bottom. The fact that the head was golden, the other parts were made of less noble metals, and the feet were made of a mixture of iron and clay, God explains by the declining quality of the consecutive kingdoms. (Daniel 2:39, 40)

The king was told that he was the golden head of the statue (verse 38). This means that King Nebuchadnezzar is the beginning of an era that will last until the saints of the Highest take over the rule (Daniel 2: 34,44-45), which has not yet happened, as we shall see. That is why we call the epoch in which we find ourselves the Babylonian epoch.

Summary

Current developments cannot be understood if we do not know the beginning and the goal to be achieved. We live in an era that began during the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. That is why we call it the Babylonian epoch. The four kingdoms are periods of four governments. The end of the Babylonian era will come when the saints of the Highest take over the government.

Global government is the goal of the Babylonian era

The beginning of the Babylonian era is described, as it already has been said, in the second chapter of the book of the prophet Daniel. The large statue that the king saw in the dream, which, according to the description, had a human form, represents the whole, still lasting era. It is an epoch of human governments that have the permission of the God of heaven to rule over the whole earth, wherever a living soul may be found. Daniel writes in verses 2: 37-38: "You, O king, the king of kings to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, the strength, and the honor and into whose hands he has given men wherever they may dwell, as well as the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens, and whom he has made ruler over all of them-you yourself are the head of gold." The head is a source of ideas and plans. Short-term and long-term ones. The idea of governing over the whole earth was not new. Shortly after the flood, Nimrod aimed at the rule over all people (Genesis 11: 1-9). The God of heaven has not yet allowed him to do so.

By doing so, God made it clear to the King that it was Him, the God of heaven, who let people form a world government according to his own concept.

Summary

We already know how and when the Babylonian era began. We have now learned that the goal of the Babylonian epoch is worldwide government, created in conformity with the will of man.

Human worldwide government will be based on the exercise of power

The concept of human governments is based mainly on the exercise of power. This is the principle followed by King Nebuchadnezzar and all the rulers after him to this day.

,,Is this not Babylon the Great that I myself have built for the royal house by my own strength and might and for the glory of my majesty?" (Daniel 4:30)

We will return to this statement of the King of Babylon even later, here we present it in order to see what human governments base their existence and their motivation on. They are aimed with the power and strength at achieving ever greater majesty of their own. A proof that human governments give priority to power and might rather than justice and the other two basic qualities (wisdom and love) is given in verse 40 of the interpretation of the dream of a great statue:

,, As for the fourth kingdom, it will be strong like iron. For just as iron crushes pulverizes everything else, yes, like iron that shatters, it will crush and shatter all of these." (Daniel 2:40)

We do not learn much about the silver and bronze kingdoms, but the fourth, the iron kingdom, is characterized by the hardness and strength of iron. Developments throughout all of the whole of Babylonian era moves to this goal. To increasing strength and hardness. At the expense of justice and the prospects of others.

Summary

The second and fourth chapters of Daniel's book describe that the concept of King Nebuchadnezzar's rule is based on strength and power, and the purpose of his rule is to achieve higher majesty to his honor. This concept of government is being followed also by the kingdoms of the Babylonian era, which come after the Babylonian Empire. The worst and hardest will be the fourth kingdom, which is represented on the great statue of the King's dream by iron feet and soles with toes, which are partly made of iron, partly made of clay.

Is the Development of Human Rule heading for a deteriorating global totalitarianism?

In the interpretation of the dream of a great statue, God said to the king, that his reign (golden head) would be replaced by another (silver), worse kingdom. The third, bronze kingdom is first said to rule over the whole earth. Finally, the government of the Iron Kingdom will come.

,,... you yourself are the head of gold. But after you, another kingdom will rise, inferior to you, then another kingdom, a third one, of copper, that will rule over the whole earth. As for the fourth kingdom, it will be strong like iron. For just as iron crushes and pulverizes everything else, yes, like iron that shatters, it will crush and shatter all of these." (Daniel 2:38-40)

The description and interpretation of the dream of the King of Babylon show that the quality that grows with each new kingdom on the statue represented by silver, bronze and iron is hardness. Silver is a little harder than gold. Bronze is a much harder material than gold and silver, and iron is the hardest of these materials. The deteriorating quality of the kingdom, as the interpretation of the dream of a great statue suggests, must be associated with increasing hardness.

The period of Bronze Age

We know that the so-called bronze kingdom will rule over the whole earth. The first kingdom that could be said with some exaggeration to rule over the entire country was the British Empire. At the time of his greatest glory, it was said that the sun did not set over him. The British Empire can therefore be considered a representative of the Bronze Kingdom. At the time of its greatest glory, England is a kingdom, but the executive power in the country is split between the royal family and the Parliament. The political power of the Parliament and government composed of elected representatives of political parties is greater than royal power. England is considered the cradle of democracy in modern times. The democratic political-power system began to spread around the world.

The United States, the former English colony, was the successor to the British Empire. To this day, the United States is the strongest and most zealous promoter of democracy in the world. The great worldly powers spread not only the political system, but also modern technology and the western lifestyle with its values and gradual alienation from God. Gold and silver are soft, forgeable metals. They are easy to shape and process according to the creator's intention. Although bronze is an alloy of soft metals, copper and tin, their alloy, bronze, is very hard. However, iron is even harder than bronze. During Daniel's lifetime, iron was the hardest material to be used for weapons manufactory. As for gold and silver, much less force and energy are needed on the processing than in case of bronze and iron. But in what way is the hardness of other kingdoms worse and greater? After all, the hardness in antiquity and in the Middle Ages was at first sight the same, if not greater than it is today. The question is, to whom? Hardness against people has always existed. There was even a murder between Adam's two sons.

According to Daniel's prophecy in the seventh chapter, the last beast is described as follows:

,,As for the fourth beast, there is a fourth kingdom that will come to be on the earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms, and it will devour all the earth and will trample it down and crush it. As for the ten horns, ten kings will rise up out of that kingdom; and still another one will rise up after them, and he will be different from the first ones and he will humiliate three kings. He will speak words against the Most High and he will continually harass the holy ones of the Supreme One. He will intend to change times and law, and they will be given into his hand for a time, times and half a time." (Daniel 7:23-25)

The hardness of the kingdom of the Iron Era is not only directed against the people, creation and the earth (it will devour and plunder the whole earth), but in the end it will also degenerate into open hostility and open rebellion against God and His people.

Transition to the period of Iron Kingdom

The transition from the Bronze Era to the reign of the Iron Kingdom can be traced both by the hardness in the use of force and injustice against the weak and by the loss of respect for God. We are not able to determine the exact date of the transition from the Bronze to the Iron Era. Perhaps the first major break in the relationship of rulers, but also of the lower classes of society towards the Church (probably not to God yet) occurred after the War of Thirty Years'. The Renaissance and new discoveries in the use of steam and electricity gradually strengthened people's faith in their own strength and abilities. The British Empire became the dominant kingdom of the Bronze Era. But it itself gradually turned into an iron kingdom. But nowadays we surely live in the Iron Era. The relationship of rulers, governments and other powerful and rich people of the contemporary world to human society, to nature and to God has completely changed. This is evident after World War I and especially after World War II. The last fourth, the Iron Kingdom crushes and smashes everything. The destructive power of the iron governments is evident from this verse.

.

Summary

The Kingdom of the Babylonian Era differs in severity in the exercise of power and in the deteriorating relationship with God and all that is associated with Him. The last, fourth, Iron Kingdom, during which the last worldwide rule of the Babylonian era will come, is characterized by an increasing destructive force, directed at people and nature. The democratic political system, which is being spread through the great worldly powers mainly after the Second World War, will be replaced at the end of the era by totalitarianism, which will destroy and crush everything that stands in its way.

The Babylonian Era ends with a rebellion against God and His order.

Daniel's prophecy in the seventh chapter tells that in the period of the fourth kingdom, at the end, someone powerful will wage war on the saints and overcome them. Eventually, however, it will be destroyed and wiped out (Daniel 7:21,25,26).

,,I kept watching as that horn made war on the holy ones, and it was prevailing against them,...He will speak words against the Most High, and he will continually harass the holy ones of the Supreme One. He will intend to change time and law, and they will be given into his hand for a time, times and half a time. But the Court sat and they took away his rulership in order to annihilate him and to destroy him completely ".

The end of the Babylonian Era is also confirmed by the interpretation of the dream of the great statue in (Daniel 2:34):

,,You looked on until a stone was cut out, not by hands, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and of clay and crushed them."

,,And just as you saw the feet and the toes to be of clay of a potter and partly of iron, the kingdom will be divided but some of the hardiness of iron will be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with soft clay.  And as the toes and the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom will be partly strong and partly fragile. Just as you saw iron mixed with soft clay, they will be mixed with the people, but hey will not stick together, one to the other, just as iron does not mix with clay. In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed . And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever, just as you saw that out of the mountain a stone was cut not by hands and that it crushed the iron, the copper, the clay and the silver and the gold. The Grand God has made known to the king what will happen in the future"

In the final period of the Babylonian Era, people of different races and cultures will mix, and this will cause the kingdom to be internally divided. It is certainly a very important feature, a signal for recognizing the approaching conclusion of the Iron Kingdom and the entire Babylonian epoch (see the quoted verses of Daniel 2: 34,41-45). The mixing of people of different nationalities and races has been under way since the beginning of the Babylonian Era in antiquity. The king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, in an effort to control the peoples who had conquered, moved them throughout the empire. The Medo-Persian kings let the relocated nations to return and restore their culture and religion (thanks to which the Jews could return to rebuild Jerusalem and the temple again). In the Roman Empire, after the introduction of Christianity, the Christian nations lived side by side for a long time. They did the business with each other; they shared the same faith and for a long time the same church. Consequently, for many centuries there has been no significant mixing of people and different cultures. The mixing of people described in Daniel 2: 34,41-45 must be of particular importance, in relation to the behavior and features of the Iron Kingdom at the end of its existence. There is currently a consciously and openly supported experiment under way in Europe, during which a large number of people of different races come to Europe, people with completely different mentalities, cultures and religious roots. That process began on a large scale in 2015. On a smaller scale, however, the mixing of people of different races, cultures and religions with the European population has been under way for a long time since the end of World War II.

Promoting the migration of large numbers of foreigners is not a caprice of some political leaders, but a consciously controlled process. It is a process consciously supported. Whatever his goals, God considered it important to draw attention to this fact. We must therefore take current, artificially supported migration into account as one of the important signs of the ongoing Era of Iron Kingdom.

The final rebellion against God and his people will be real

This rebellion has not taken place yet, but it will be completely real. There are several places in the Bible where rebellion against God and his Anointed is mentioned.

,,Why are the nations agitated and the peoples muttering an empty thing ? The kings of the earth take their stand and high officials gather together as one against the God and against his Anointed One. Let us tear off their shackles. " (Žalm 2:1-3)

,,AS for the fourth beast, there is a fourth kingdom that will come to be on the earth, it will be different from the other kingdoms, and it will devour all the earth and it will trample it down and crush it. As for the ten horns, ten kings will rise up out of that kingdom and still another one will rise up after them and he will be different from the first ones and he will humiliate three kings. He will speak words against the Most High, and he will continually harass the holy ones of the Supreme One. He will also intend to change times and law, and they will be given into his hands for a time, times, and half a time. But the Court sat and they took away his rulership in order to annihilate him and to destroy him completely and the kingdom and the rulership and the grandeur of the kingdoms under all the heavens were given to the people of the Supreme One. Hus kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and all rulerships will serve them and obey them." (Daniel 7:23-27)

,,Then you will be handed over to tribulation and they will kill you, and you will be hatedby all the nations on account of my name." (Matthew 24:9)

,,A for the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you not to be quickly shaken from your reason not to be alarmed either by an inspired statement or by a spoken message or by a letter appearing to be from us, to the effect that the day of our God be here. Let no one lead you astray to any way, because it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed, the son of destruction. He stands in opposition and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits down in the temple of God publicly showing himself to be a god." (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4)

Na konci období čtvrtého království, popsaném u Daniela ve druhé kapitole (chodidla sochy částečně ze železa, částečně z hlíny) a v sedmé kapitole je to čtvrtá šelma (... strašlivá, úděsná a neobyčejně silná. Měla veliké železné zuby. Požírala, drtila a to ostatní svýma nohama pošlapávala. Ta byla ale odlišná ode všech šelem, které byly před ní, a měla deset rohů. ... Daniel 7:7, 23-25) se objeví šelma popsaná také ve Zjevení 13:1,2;

,,And I saw a wild beast ascending out of the sea with ten horns and seven heads, and on its horns ten diadems, but on its heads blasphemous names. The wild beast that I saw was like a leopard but its feet were like those of a bear, and its mouth was like a lion´s mouth.  "

Summary

From the interpretation of the prophecies related to the dream of the great statue, it follows that at the end of the Iron Era of the Babylonian epoch, people from different, often very different nations and cultures will mix. A shameless king will make his apparition, a beast who will persecute God's people and try to destroy everything that reminds God, his authority and righteousness, and will persecute anyone who sticks to God's word and does not deny Jesus. At the end of this forty-two months lasting period, during which the beast will fight and overcome the saints, the beast will be destroyed without human intervention, so will be put a term to the Babylonian epoch, in which people are allowed to form a world government of their own will. The government will be taken over by the saints of the Most High and the Kingdom of God will be established.

We can rely on God's righteousness

God's righteousness is mentioned in various contexts throughout all the Bible in over 700 texts.

The apostle Paul writes of rulers as servants of God to judge righteously. At that time there were no rulers other than the pagans. Like before them king Nebuchadnezzar. If governments do not act righteously and keep maintain God's natural order, which is based on a family of men and women, but instead support perverted values and ideas, disparage anyone who admonishes them and warns them that it is wrong, we must sooner or later expect God's response.

,,It is God's minister, an avenger to express wrath against the one practicing what is bad." (Romans13:4)

Jesus said we should seek the Kingdom of God and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Few today know that God's righteousness is the most important key to understanding Bible prophecy. When the God of heaven gave King Nebuchadnezzar rule over the whole earth, he also showed him that the king must recognize God's sovereignty and respect the Supreme God, who made approval of his rule over the whole earth. Therefore he sent the king another                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              dream of a large tree that had been cut down, leaving only a stump in the ground gripped with iron and bronze hoops for seven times, so that the king would know that the Supreme ruled over the human kingdoms and gave them to whomever he wanted.

,,This is by the decree of watchers, and the request is by the word of the holy ones so that the people living may know that the Most High is Ruler in the kingdom of mankind and that he gives it to whomever he wants.... . ... At the end of that time I Nebuchadnezzar looked up to the heavens and my understanding returned to me. I praised the Most High, and to the one living forever I gave praise and glory because his rulership is an everlasting rulership and his kingdom is for generation after generation.  All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing, and he does according to his own will among the army of the heavens and the inhabitants of the earth. And there is no one who can hinder him or say to him: ´What have you done?' At that time my understanding returned to me and the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and my splendor returned to me. My high officials and nobles eagerly sought meout, and I was restored to my kingdom, and even more greatness was added to me. Noe I, Nebuchadnezzar, am praising and exalting the King of the heavens because all his works are truth and his ways are just and because he is able to humiliate those who are walking in pride." (Daniel 4:17,25,34-39)

The narration of this story of Nebuchadnezzar, as well as of other powerful acts that God did before the eyes of the king and his nobility (liberation of Daniel's friends from the fiery furnace) and later before Medes King Darius, when he delivered Daniel from the lion's den, is intentional. The main purpose of these demonstrations of God's power is to instruct the rulers of the world to respect God's natural order, authority, and righteousness. God's power and justice (manifested in the natural order he created) are two qualities the Bible draws our attention to. Why? To learn about the principles of his righteousness and the ways in which God manifests justice. He is not indifferent; he watches what is going on earth and he knows about each of us.

,,God is a righteous Judge, and God proclaims his judgments every day.... ... he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the inhabited earth with righteousness. " (Psalms 7:12; 96:13)

,,God is in his holy temple, God´s throne is in the heavens. God examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one. His soul hates anyone who loves violence. Upon the wicked, he will rain down snares. Fire and sulfur and a scorching wind will be the portion of their cup, for God is righteous. He loves righteous acts. The upright will see his face.." (Psalms 11:4-7)

,,Two sparrows sell for a coin of small value., do they not? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your father´s knowledge. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered." (Matthew 10:29,30)

Let us be sure that he records the actions of every ruler and government. The quality of human governments is being determined by justice and respect for his authority. He does not call for rebellion against bad rulers, because he will eventually judge them. See the text cited in Romans 13: 4;

On the contrary, the kingdom of God, which comes when the measure of evil that will lead to open rebellion against God  is complete, guarantees that his government will be righteous.

,, For a child has been born to us, A son has been given to us; and the rulership  will rest on his shoulder. His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.  To the increase of his rulership and to peace, there will be no end, on the throne of David and on his kingdom i n order to establish it firmly and to sustain it through justice and righteousness, from now on and forever. The zeal of God of armies will do this." (Isaiah 9:5,6; 16:5;)

Summary

There are mainly two reasons for which human kingdoms are deteriorating in our era. The first aspect is the relation to the God of heaven and his creation. The second aspect is in the application of justice that respects God's natural order.

Two fulfillments of the prophetic dream of a giant statue

Biblical prophecies do not only announce what is to come. In most cases, biblical prophecies state, in addition to the events that are to take place, the causes that those events will provoke and the starting point leading to salvation. That is why we need to know God's justice, because it is the key to understanding God's prophecies. Biblical prophecies sometimes have more than one fulfillment, because most processes in human society are somehow re-echoed (Ecclesiastes 1: 9,10) even with consequences. Only the form and staffing of the participants in the process change. The question is whether the prophecies we are now examining have not happened, and if so, when? Let's take a closer look at the two accomplishments of the interpretation of the dream of a great statue.

The first fulfillment was only partial

Commentators of Daniel's prophecies sometimes sustain that the dream of a giant statue and the prophecy of the four beasts had their accomplishment in ancient times. And they are partially right. The domination of the seemingly invincible Babylon was replaced by the Medo-Persian Empire, which was overthrown by Alexander the Great. The age of the ancient pagan empires was completed by the Roman Empire. During its reign, Jesus Christ, who announced the coming of God's kingdom (Matthew 3: 2; 4:17),  was born on earth. By this the prophecy described in the interpretation of the dream of the giant statue was partially fulfilled.

Mankind failed to form a world government during the reign of the pagan empires because it simply was not possible. And the Kingdom of God came, but not with the power to put an end to all those kingdoms. On the contrary, the Kingdom of God (represented at the time by the people of Moses) coexisted with other, pagan empires. The Roman Empire did not disappear under the invasions of the barbarians, but only gradually transformed during the first millennium into the Christian Holy Roman Empire, in which the Roman Catholic Church had a very significant share in the power and spiritual influence. The first emperor appointed was Charles the Great (Charlemagne). The Christian faith was gradually adopted by most nations in Europe. The rule of the saints of the Most High, as stated in the king's dream, did not occur through the union of spiritual and secular power, for the world was still in the power of the bad one (1 John 5:19). The Church did not end all those kingdoms (Daniel 2: 44,45). The expected second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ also did not come true. With the second coming of our Lord, the order to commemorate the Lord's death at the Lord's Supper with bread and his covenant, which He made with us through His blood symbolized by a glass of wine, will end.

,, For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night on which he was going to be betrayed took a loaf,  and after giving thanks, he broke it and said: "This means my body, which is in your behalf. Keep doing this in remembrance of me." He did the same with the cup also, after they had the evening meal, saying: "This cup means the new covenant by virtue of my blood. Keep doing this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." For whenever you eat this loaf and drink this cup, you keep proclaiming the death of the Lord, until he comes. " (1Corinthians 11:23-26)

This is still true until the Lord comes.

Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is among us: " On being asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God was coming, he answered them: "The Kingdom of God is not coming with striking observableness; nor will people say, 'See here!' or, 'There!' For look! the Kingdom of God is in your midst ." (Luke 17:20, 21)

In the parable of the field and the weeds, Jesus showed that the kingdom of God is on earth (in the field that represents the world) through the sons of the kingdom, along with the sons of the evil:

In response he said: "The sower of the fine seed is the Son of man; the field is the world. As for the fine seed, these are the sons of the Kingdom, but the weeds are the sons of the wicked one, and the enemy who sowed them is the Devil. The harvest is a conclusion of a system of things, and the reapers are angels. Therefore, just as the weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be in the conclusion of the system of things.  The Son of man will send his angels, and they will collect out from his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling and people who practice lawlessness"(Matthew 13:36-41)

It is clear from the parable that the kingdom of God is represented by the "sons of the kingdom" and are in the field (in the world) together with the sons of the evil one. And this condition will continue until the harvest (Revelation 14:15). This situation persists today.

The prophecy of the four beasts was not fulfilled during the first accomplishment, because Daniel had the vision in the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, shortly before the fall of his empire. The kingdoms represented by the beasts of Daniel's vision recorded in the seventh chapter of the book relate to other, kingdoms that appeared later. Nevertheless, we can consider the time of the pagan empires from the Babylonian Empire to the collapse of the Roman Empire as the first partial fulfillment of the prophetic dream of the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar because most of what is said in the interpretation of the dream came true.

Summary

The development of the ancient empires during the period of the first fulfillment of the dream of a great statue can be taken as help in the sense of Ecclesiastes 1: 9,10. The first fulfillment of the interpretation of the dream of a great statue was completed with the beginning of the Christian age. In the first fulfillment, pagan empires ruled. However, none of them formed a world government, and the Kingdom of God came up without the intervention ('not by hands') during the rule of the last empire from the period of the first fulfillment of the dream about the giant statue. It was and still is represented by the Sons of the Kingdom. However, it did not end the Babylonian era, as there was no worldwide rebellion against God, which is mentioned in the prophecy of the four beasts representing the four kingdoms. God's people of the first covenant were replaced by the people of Christ, which was created on the basis of the new covenant of Christ. The process that Jesus described in several parables began, the most famous of which is perhaps the parable of wheat and weeds.

The second fulfillment is related to the interpretation of Jesus' parable of the corn and the weeds in the field and of the harvest.

The prophecy of the great statue covers a period of more than two and a half thousand years. Therefore, we must be careful to put the individual prophecies correctly into their places. This is not about specific data. We must try to understand the purpose for which God's prophecy was communicated to us (Isaiah 55: 9-11).

The dream of the giant statue and its interpretation is basic information about the growth of human governments and the purpose of the entire Babylonian era of more than two and a half thousand years. We already know from the process that the evolution of human governments is leading to the destructive, unrighteous use of force and rebellion against the God of heaven. The purpose of the whole epoch is undoubtedly to enable humankind to form a world government according to its own conception. Through Daniel, God communicates this not only to the rulers but also to His people (Moses and Christ) to let them know and understand the era in which we are living (Daniel 12:10). As the victory of God's Kingdom over human governments is conditioned by the occurrence of a world government according to human conception and the rebellion of human rulers against God, we cannot determine any exact time. This shows to be a very useful point, as this way we are protected from hastily determining the date of the end of the age and the coming of the Kingdom of God.

We also know that the whole epoch can be divided into periods of four kingdoms. We know that one cycle of the four great empires has already taken place, and we call it the first fulfillment. From the history of the empires of the first fulfillment of the dream related to a giant statue, we can see that even then the relationship with the God of heaven and his people was deteriorating. Especially after the collapse of the empire of Alexander the Great, Macedonian. During the reign of Antiochus IV. Epiphany there was even desecration of the temple when a statue of Zeus was placed in it. Later, some Roman emperors claimed to be gods, as described in Daniel, in the Revelation of John, or in 2 Thessalonians. Nowadays, looking back at two thousand years of the Christian Era, we can see the same tendency of humankind evolution. Mainly in the Christian part of the world. Why does it take so long?

To have enough time to accomplish the main task that the Lord Jesus has entrusted us with:

,, Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: "All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things ." (Matthew 28:18-20)

This task was not technically feasible for a long time, because the time of discovering new continents, islands and the people living on them came much later. The evangelization and missionary work of the churches could spread on a large scale from the then known world to all continents and inhabited islands with the development of commercial sailing.

Another reason why it takes so long was explained by the Apostle Peter in his letter:

However, do not let this escape your notice, beloved ones, that one day is with God as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.  God is not slow concerning his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. But God's day will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar, but the elements being intensely hot will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be exposed (2 Peter 3:8-10)

The third reason is the fact we already mentioned at the beginning of the study. In secret, a very important process of sanctification (purification) of God's name has been taking place in our eyes in heaven. John writes about this in Revelation chapter four. This chapter confirms the importance of the first sentence in the Father's Prayer: " Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. " We do not know how long this process will take, but it will not end until the angels represented in the first heavens by twenty-four elders sitting on their thrones around God's throne, acknowledge that God has the right to rule his creation. ,, You are worthy, Lord our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they came into existence and were created." (Revelation 4:11)
The fourth reason is explained in the fifth chapter of Revelation, where the Lamb takes over the scroll with the seven seals. Among other things, it is explained why the Lamb is worthy to take over the scroll. ,,You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, for you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought people for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth. " It probably also takes some time to raise enough individuals suitable for God's government. Therefore, we cannot base our studies of prophecy solely on events that have happened or are to happen. We must understand the meaning of even those prophecies about events that we cannot see because they are happening in heaven.

If we are to understand the current evolution of mankind and the world in the age of the Christ' covenant, we must understand the conditions described by Jesus in several parables. We already mentioned the first one when we explained the first accomplishment. It is a parable about wheat and weeds from Matthew, chapter 13. There Jesus says that the sons of the kingdom (wheat) and the sons of the evil (weeds) live together until the harvest, when everything matures. Another parable "On the growth of the kingdom" written in Mark 4: 26-29 brings another important detail. "The kingdom of God is like a man casting a seed on the ground; he sleeps at night and gets up during the day and the seed germinates and grows, he doesn't even know how. The earth bears fruit of its own, first the stalk, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. And when the harvest is ripe, a man shall send a sickle at once: for the harvest is come." The parable tells us that one can observe the growth of the harvest, but one does not even know how it happens. Only by external signs does he know that the harvest is approaching. We know that the sower is the Son of Man (Matthew 13: 37-39), and he also knows what the harvest should look like. Another information from this parable is the fact that the evolution (growth and maturation) of mankind, the people of Christ including, follows God's natural order. This includes the education of God's people for the roles of kings and priests in God's government.

As a result, we should pay more attention to the traits and characteristics that usually manifest in specific events in the behavior of the society, in the growth of lawlessness and the influence of the wicked, in the values that most people follow or recognize, including rulers and politicians of the world we live in. These signs indicate that the crop is ripening. Do we know how to know it? We know at least two important features. Deviation from God's natural order, manifested in perverted behavior, support for perverted and false ideologies, and the adoption of laws contrary to natural law that is in harmony with God's natural order. This is just one important feature. The second is a spontaneous tendency towards rebellion against God and his Anointed One.

Summary

The second fulfillment of the interpretation of the dream that the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar had about the giant statue, took place in the so-called Christian age. With the arrival of Jesus Christ and his successful accomplishment of the mission he received from his Father, the God of heaven, the development of a world in which the sons of the kingdom and the sons of the evil live together began. The great powers that have embraced Christianity as their religion have a significant influence on the formation of the world. From John's prophecies written in the fourth and fifth chapters of Revelation, it is clear that the end of the Babylonian era and the coming of God's government will come when all the conditions in heaven and on earth are fulfilled. The parables of "wheat and weeds" and the "growth of the kingdom" explain that humanity in the Christian age must mature like a harvest in a field, and also that the sons of the kingdom and the sons of the evil must grow together side by side as grain and weeds grow in the field.

The present, the expected development and the germ of the God's Kingdom

In previous chapters, we have presented biblical data and evidence for the nature of the epoch in which we live. We have also presented biblical evidence explaining the purpose God intended for this epoch. We have found that the beginning of this era came during the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. That is why we call it the Babylonian epoch. From the above, it is easy to calculate that the Babylonian epoch has lasted for more than two and a half thousand years. We have also found biblical evidence that the Babylonian epoch will end when the process of sanctification (purification) of God's name is completed in heaven and the Lamb takes over the scroll with the seven seals. Then there will be events on earth leading to open rebellion against God and his Anointed One. In this way, based on biblical data, we created a scheme that allows us to understand the current development of this world and also the events that we observe or experience personally.

The world has changed completely in the last more than one hundred and twenty years. Human society, especially in Europe and the former British colonies, has changed beyond recognition. The world at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries looked completely different than it does today. The biggest difference is not only in the new types of energy, transport and communication technologies that man has discovered and uses. The biggest difference is in people's thinking. The value scale at the level of the whole society has changed. The differences between what was previously considered normal and perverted, decent and immoral, just and unjust, are gradually disappearing (Isaiah 5: 19-21). The relationship to the homeland, to authority, the relationship of children to parents, pupils to teachers, the relationship to education and culture are changing. All this and much more is today in many ways virtually incomparable to the behavior and attitudes of people one hundred and twenty years ago. Is it possible to deduce from the present events that the lesson of Jesus from the parable of the fig tree is currently underway?

"Now learn this illustration from the fig tree: Just as soon as its young branch grows tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near. Likewise, also you, when you see all these things, know that he is near at the doors. Truly I say to you that this generation will by no means pass away until all these things happen.   "(Matthew 24:32-34)

The events that caused these changes did not happen by accident. Historians, political scientists, sociologists, military experts, climatologists and other experts publish scientific studies to explain the observed changes and events and to determine the expected development for the future. Each of these experts studies these changes from the perspective of their field and provides interesting data and observations. We look at past and present events in the context of human development from a biblical perspective.

In past chapters, we have found that some biblical prophecies announce events that are to take place in heaven (the prophets Isaiah, Daniel, and John in Revelation) and therefore cannot be seen from the earth. Even so, they are very important testimonies of processes and events that, although we do not know when they will happen or have already happened, have or will have a great influence on events on earth. We assume that the development will lead to an increasingly tougher exercise of power. We remind you to keep in mind that the main, second fulfillment of the dream of the great statue will not be completed until God's name is purified and the Lamb is recognized as the one to be worth opening the scroll with the seven seals.

Events in heaven and the kingdom of God on earth

The fourth chapter of Revelation describes the process of verifying the holiness of the One who sits on the throne. Just the first verse is important.

,,After this I saw, and look! an opened door in heaven, and the first voice that I heard speaking with me was like a trumpet, saying: "Come up here, and I will show you the things that must take place." (Revelation 4:1)

Compared to verse 19 in the first chapter of Revelation, which says that the following content applies to the present and future things of John: "So write the things which you have seen and those which are, and those which are they are to happen after them. ", the first verse of the fourth chapter announces that everything that is written on is to happen after them. After what? Here is the answer:

,,After this I immediately came to be in the power of the spirit, and look! a throne was in its position in heaven, and someone was seated on the throne.  And the One seated had the appearance of a jasper stone and a sardius stone, and all around the throne was a rainbow like an emerald in appearance. All around the throne were 24 thrones, and on these thrones, I saw seated 24 elders dressed in white garments, and on their heads golden crowns. From the throne were coming lightning and voices and thunders; and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, and these mean the seven spirits of God. Before the throne was something resembling a glassy sea, like crystal. In the midst of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures that were full of eyes in front and behind. The first living creature was like a lion, and the second living creature was like a young bull, and the third living creature had a face like a man's, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. As for the four living creatures, each one of them had six wings; they were full of eyes all around and underneath. And continuously, day and night, they say: "Holy, holy, holy is our God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is coming." Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanksgiving to the One seated on the throne, the One who lives forever and ever, the 24 elders fall down before the One seated on the throne and worship the One who lives forever and ever, and they cast their crowns before the throne, saying: "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they came into existence and were created."

The prophecy tells us that the canonization, or purification of God's name from satan's accusations and contentious issues is a continual process in heaven, including the questioning of God's right to rule over the beings to whom He has given free will. We can easily verify that this is a long-term process by comparing it with the similarly described process of the canonization of God on the throne, that is written by Isaiah in the sixth chapter, verses 1-3: " In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a lofty and elevated throne, and the skirts of his robe filled the temple.    Seraphs were standing above him; each had six wings. Each covered his face with two and covered his feet with two, and each of them would fly about with two.  And one called to the other: ,,Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts. The whole earth is filled with his glory."

These are two prophecies about the canonization of God (more information is available on our website) written by two different prophets who lived about a thousand years apart.

In the fourth chapter of John's Revelation, the canonization is done by four living beings. They keep saying, "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord, God Almighty, he who was and who is and who is to come." The information is apparently addressed to the twenty-four elders (prezbyteros) sitting on their thrones, around God sitting on the throne:  Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanksgiving to the One seated on the throne, the One who lives forever and ever, the 24 elders fall down before the One seated on the throne and worship the One who lives forever and ever, and they cast their crowns before the throne, saying: "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they came into existence and were created."

The controversial issue for which God's name has been and perhaps is still being purified is the questioning of God's right to rule over beings to whom He has given free will. The fourth chapter of Revelation and Isaiah's prophecy, written in the sixth chapter, are extremely important testimonies of the ongoing legal process in heaven. That procedure was initiated by satan with his controversial questions, by which he accused God who provides us with the necessary information about this process. He wants us to realize that this case is mainly about justice. The twenty-four elders cannot be human servants of God in their heavenly position, but representatives of the angels of the first heavens, charged with monitoring the process of verifying God's holiness. You will find everything explained in detail in our studies.

The sixth chapter of John's Revelation describes the consequences of the events just described in heaven, their visible manifestations here on earth. Here comes the second fulfillment of the prophecy of the four horsemen and the first four seals. The first fulfillment probably took place from the end of the nineteenth and throughout the twentieth century.

It is important for us Christians to realize that a rider on a white horse has a holy (white, pure) mission, because white is the color of purity and holiness. The rider's bow points to the service of the Word (Ephesians 6:16; Psalm 64: 4; Proverbs 25:18). The rider on the white horse sends arrows of warning words that will warn people of the wrath of God and the Lamb. And depending on the fact that he has a winner's wreath, he will be successful. The role of the rider on the white horse is certainly positive. Christians "from above" will probably be called to remind humanity of the updated gospel, supplemented by warnings of the wrath of God and the Lamb. (With this warning, both young and old will rightly interpret the catastrophe described in the sixth seal of Revelation.) And apparently someone will respond to the challenge "from above" and carry it out successfully. God's selection of the elect ones and their marking with the seal of God (the Holy Spirit in fullness) and the gathering of the Great Crowd under God's protection ( "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. That is why they are before the throne of God, and they are rendering him sacred service day and night in his temple; and the One seated on the throne will spread his tent over them. They will hunger no more nor thirst anymore, neither will the sun beat down on them nor any scorching heat, because the Lamb, who is in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them and will guide them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe out every tear from their eyes." (Revelation 7:14-17)) will be the beginning of a new phase of God's people and the presence of God's kingdom on earth.

Summary

The situation in the world depends on how and when the canonization of God's name turns out. Although it is not known how long the Holiness of God's name and of God's government in heaven has been continually verified, this fact is clearly recorded in the books of Isaiah and Revelation. It is a legal process, the result of which is so important that it became the first request in Jesus' model prayer, "Our Father." Although there seems to be virtually injustice on earth, the situation in heaven is quite the opposite. That is why Jesus said, "Seek the Kingdom of God and his righteousness." The end of the Babylonian era is also the end of a legal process to purify God's name and defend his right to rule over all beings to whom he has given free will, because his rule is just. When the process of canonization of God on His heavenly throne is over and the Lamb, our Lord Jesus Christ, takes over the scroll with the seven seals, some Christians on earth will accept the call to warn mankind of the wrath of God and the Lamb. Their anger will manifest itself in the catastrophe described in the sixth seal.

Modern history related to the end of the Babylonian era

This brief study does not go into detail about the history of Christianity, the history of Christian nations, the history of the spread of the gospel on earth, or the history of the failed proclamations of the ends of the world and the coming of God's kingdom. We cannot describe in detail the influence of the Renaissance and scientific and technical progress on people's thinking and on the gradual weakening of the power of the nobility and the Church. But a certain part of modern history is enough for us to understand what is happening today and what lies ahead. We will focus our reflection only on some events and their development since the turn of the 19th and during the 20th century. We will relate the following facts to what we already know about the purpose and goal that humanity is pursuing in the Babylonian era we are currently experiencing.

We have said that the main, second fulfillment of the interpretation of the dream of the great statue, (Daniel chapter 2), takes place entirely in the Christian age. During this period, most of the time, the nobility and feudal rulers ruled along with the church. Therefore, it is important to remember when the turning point came and the feudal lords and the church lost most of their power.

The feudal order was based on the union of ecclesiastical and secular power. The titles, rights, and property of the nobility and feudal rulers were inherited and approved by God through the Church (Matthew 18: 18,19). Church power and secular power supported this way mutually. The position of the church (later more churches) in society corresponded to this. Their power was enormous. Feudalism began to weaken only with the decline of the nobility and the growing influence of the free class, mostly formed by wealthy burghers. That feudal world ended with the First World War, which ended the rule of three powerful monarchies, the Hohenzollerns in Germany, the Habsburgs in Austria-Hungary and the Romanovs in Russia. The feudal order was replaced by new democratic regimes in the countries ruled by these monarchies. This happened in the states created after the disintegration of Austria-Hungary and also as a result of the coming of communism in Russia and a little later by the Nazi regime in Germany. In none of these power-political units does the Church have the same status after the First World War as it did before the war. In the Soviet Union, the church was even persecuted so that faithful believers often lost their lives. In other countries with a new regime, the influence of churches has rapidly waned.

This is important to realize, because the social systems that replaced the former monarchies no longer needed the approval of the church to rule. God, represented by the Church, was replaced by free people with the right to vote. Governments, presidents, chancellors, prime ministers and deputies are no longer accountable to God, but to their electorate. This is the first time in European Christian history.

Governments and politicians no longer need the church. But it was not until many decades later that they dared to openly support perverse actions and ideologies as we see it today. For many decades, under the influence of strong media massage promoting the consumerist way of life and educating new generations to a life in which there is no room for God has borne fruit. Political governments could finally openly take a secular position. The development of new technologies and media has also contributed to this, enabling much greater and faster dissemination of ideas and the promotion of values that divert people's attention and thinking from God. With this, of course, the hope of salvation by the redemption through Jesus Christ disappears and further deepens the alienation from God's creative work and God's natural order.

The conditions for the arrival of the last supertotality of the Babylonian epoch, the beast, which is described in the Book of Daniel and in Revelation, are essentially ready. We cannot go into more detail here about all the important events that contributed to this, but the attack on the twins in New York in September 2001, the economic crisis in 2008-9, the migrant invasion launched in Europe in 2015 and the lockdowns for Covid-19 in many countries are important milestones on the way to the arrival of this beast. So far, more information cannot be squeezed into this study.

Key event

We seem to have many good reasons to believe that the time of great events and changes is just around the corner. There are many indications that preparations for the final period of the Babylonian era will be completed soon. But we don't have certitude yet. The key evidence will be the event described in the sixth seal.

,, And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and a great earthquake occurred; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the entire moon became as blood, and the stars of heaven fell to the earth as when a fig tree shaken by a high wind drops its unripe figs.    And the heaven departed as a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and every island was removed from its place. Then the kings of the earth, the high officials, the military commanders, the rich, the strong, every slave, and every free person hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. And they keep saying to the mountains and to the rocks: "Fall over and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"(Revelation 6:12-17, Isaiah 2:8-12, 19-21)

This event will be a turning point that clearly and unquestionably means that the generation that experiences it will not pass away until it all happens. Everything will most likely be announced in time to humankind by a rider on a white horse.

What does this mean for Christians?

For decades, Christians have watched the world change. We think it's time to tell people the information described in this study. Not because we are announcing a specific time scenario to announce the end of the Babylonian era. However, we should give people a chance to understand what is happening and why it is happening. Malachi writes in the second chapter of the seventh verse:  ,, For the lips of a priest should safeguard knowledge, and people should seek the law from his mouth, because he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts ." People have the right to seek knowledge from Christian clergy. We do not know when God will intervene. His first major intervention is described in the sixth seal in the sixth chapter of John's Revelation. The verse from the sixth seal brought us to the idea of warning humanity, warning the nations that God will not be eternally inactive, but will show His anger at the evil actions of rulers:

,, Then the kings of the earth, the high officials, the military commanders, the rich, the strong, every slave, and every free person hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.  And they keep saying to the mountains and to the rocks: "Fall over us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" ( Revelation 6:15-17)

How would people come to the conclusion that the catastrophe described in the sixth seal is a manifestation of the wrath of God and of the Lamb? Only by someone telling him before it happens. And it can be none other than Christians, because people will fear not only the wrath of God, but also the wrath of the Lamb, or the wrath of Christ. And no representative of a religion other than a Christian can do that.

We think that the representative of the Christians who will perform this task is represented in the sixth chapter by a rider on a white horse. He will be called at the right time: " And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder: "Come!" And I saw, and look! a white horse, and the one seated on it had a bow; and a crown was given him, and he went out conquering and to complete his conquest. (Revelation 6:1,2) And he will evidently do his job.

Our intention is to let you know in advance that someone will be approached to warn humanity in advance. We are not the ones to be commissioned from above, but we are long-standing Bible researchers, impartial to all churches and Christian congregations. We do not criticize or blame anyone. Judgment belongs to God and the head of all churches, our Lord Jesus Christ.

However, we ask you to consider and verify in the Scriptures the knowledge and ideas we present to you. There is much more we could present, but this study is the basis on which to build. As long as it's time. The blood of those who perish will not just fall on our heads.

,,When I say to someone wicked, 'You will surely die,' but you do not warn him, and you fail to speak in order to warn the wicked one to turn from his wicked course so that he may stay alive he will die for his error because he is wicked, but I will ask his blood back from you.  But if you warn someone wicked and he does not turn back from his wickedness and from his wicked course, he will die for his error, but you will certainly save your own life." ( Ezekiel 3:18,19)

People should be warned and informed. The Bible provides enough information to help people answer their questions. We also address you because we are insignificant, we have no capacities and resources necessary to reach people on all the continents. We would like you, our brothers to consider the knowledge presented in God's Word and share it with the brothers and sisters whom our Lord has entrusted to your care. There is a lot at stake.

Your brothers
